Shawn David Baker and TheLIEshow.com vist the Rancho Bernardo Winery in the fall of 2011. Shawn begins to paint the energy and vibes generated by the sounds of Chini & Camberos as wine connoisseurs and on lookers get an unexpected “Live Art Now” moment in action.
TheLIEshow.com follows Live Event artist Shawn David Baker as he sketches and paints the Del Mar Horse Races in San Diego’s premiere racetrack. Each year the artist donates his time and painting to the Photo Charity supporting the Homeless Children of San Diego County. Within a day of races he captures the moments and people as time passes by, applying paint to his sketch and thus creating his token colors and flow. Thousands in attendance enjoyed the art as it was created thanks to our friends at Del Mar placing Shawn at the foot of the racetrack.
It's based on a day-to-day dedication to our devoted arts. From artist to musicians, producers to painters. No one form is superior; from gallery to graff yard, street smarts to PHD. It's put up or shut up, and those who work hardest will taste the bottom first but finish strongest.
