Mural by Paul Knebels

Artist spotlight shines on local artist: Paul Knebels.

For quite sometime Paul has graced TheLIEshow with his art-wise talents. A monster with the spray can and a beast on canvas, Paul has strived to create art that makes humans think within a broader spectrum. He often does this by using his characters to depict a story or a thought that needed to be told. From the early years when he stepped in to blast the side of the LIE tour bus, up to his most current piece (pictured above) that recently graced TheLIEshow home base.

This year has been good to this hard working artist who has had the opportunity to present his work on various walls, establishments, and commisions. If you get a chance, add him to your Facebook or social media (Click here for Paul Knebels Facebook page). You will see how busy and gifted this talented artist truly is. Recently rocking murals for bands like Cordova and Cheezy and the Crackers, Paul is your go-to artist if you’re looking to get a job done with quality.

Big shout out and thanks to the homie Paul Knebels for coming through and doing all that you do. May he continue slay walls and kill projects for a long time to come! Major respect to Josh Hagins for provided his photography for this piece.

  • It’s based on a day-to-day dedication to our devoted arts. From artist to musicians, producers to painters. No one form is superior; from gallery to graff yard, street smarts to PHD. It’s put up or shut up, and those who work hardest will taste the bottom first but finish strongest. We support and sponsor human beings that strive to reach another level. Every individual was once a beginner, but they should never forget Learning Is Endless. L.I.E. is not an act of dishonesty but more so a movement, an outreach to the masses. Not a cult or a gang nor prophet or dictator. Our methods may be seen as forward and controversial but are undeniably direct. If it seems upfront it is intended. If we offend, please accept our early apologies. Our objective is to address the voice of those who feel they don’t have a say. In the form of art, music, and entertainment we express the minds of ours as well as the people around us. Life Isn’t Easy, so don’t go home to mama when you get bitch slapped by reality. Those who are told their goals are impossible have a choice to make, stand or fall. Musicians/Artist/Poets/Producers/Composers/Event Coordinators/Photographers/Directors/Engineers What is your L.I.E.?
